Swan Wine Group is an Australian wine producer and brand group with operations across South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales and more than 40 brands in its portfolio. Its flagship brand is Auswan Creek, whose Blue Lobster range is aimed mainly at the Chinese market; other group brands include Red Deer Station, Linwood Estate and Inspire Estate.
In the Barossa Valley the group owns the Centenarian Vineyard on Stockwell Road, first planted in 1908 and among the older vineyards in the region, with a boutique cellar door and a recently upgraded 250-tonne winery where its fruit is made. It also works with a Riverland facility of around 60,000 tonnes crushing capacity, and with McLaren Vintners, based in McLaren Vale since 2005. Chief winemaker Ben Riggs has more than 30 years in the industry, has twice been named Australia's best winemaker and has won more than 20 trophies. Former Australian Ambassador to China Dr Geoff Raby is the group's brand ambassador.
The group has partner wineries and facilities in France and Chile, and in China has invested in a bottling line, helped develop a winery in Ningxia and supported a baijiu distillery in Maotai Town, Guizhou.
