Allegiance Wines

Allegiance Wines has its home vineyard in the Mannus Valley in the Tumbarumba region, in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains at about 530 metres above sea level. Tumbarumba is the coldest wine region on mainland Australia, and the vineyard's decomposed granite and clay soils produce cool-climate Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.

Alongside its Tumbarumba wines, Allegiance sources fruit from premium regions across the country, including Margaret River, the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Coonawarra, mostly for Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Its winemaking team supervises production in each region, aiming for the purest expression of each site.

The business was founded by a former Sydney hotel executive whose love of wine grew out of his career in hospitality, and it is a member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. It also partners with producers of French rosé and Italian Prosecco.
