Tahbilk

Tahbilk, in the Nagambie Lakes region, is the oldest family-owned winery and vineyard in Victoria. The Purbrick family bought the estate in 1925, and it is now home to five generations of the family. Its original 1860 winery and cellar door are like stepping into a hidden oasis, where the natural landscape of the lakes and wetlands complements a rich winemaking heritage.

Tahbilk holds a remarkable store of old vineyards and iconic single-vineyard wines, including Victoria's oldest Shiraz, planted in 1860, and Australia's oldest Marsanne, planted in 1927. Marsanne has become the estate's signature white, alongside traditional Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, and the wider range covers Rhône and Mediterranean varieties such as Grenache, Mourvèdre, Roussanne, Viognier, Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Nero d'Avola.

The estate offers a cellar door, restaurant, accommodation and on-estate experiences, and the Tahbilk Wine Club gives members discounts and access to exclusive events and releases.
