Strelley Farm is on Brinktop Road, 650 metres from the historic town of Richmond and the Coal River in southern Tasmania. Its 170 hectares include 36 hectares of vines, making it one of Tasmania's largest vineyards.
The vineyards are overseen by chief viticulturist John, with the Fogarty group since 2002 and winner of Langton's Viticultural Excellence Award in 2017. Wines are made under Marlborough-born winemaker Liam McElhinney, chief winemaker in Tasmania since 2019 at Tasmanian Vintners near Hobart.
Strelley Farm also sources fruit from vineyards that show Tasmania's regional diversity.
