Silkman Wines began in 2013 as a side project for Hunter Valley winemakers Liz and Shaun Silkman, and has become one of the most talked-about small producers in the country. Their single vision is to make the best small-batch, contemporary wines that each single vineyard allows, built on great vineyards, room to experiment and a bit of fun.
In 2025 Silkman was shortlisted for Halliday Winery of the Year, and Liz was named Halliday Winemaker of the Year, the first Hunter Valley winemaker to receive the honour. She has also been named Hunter Valley Winemaker of the Year four times.
The Silkman range can be tasted at Wine House Hunter Valley, across the road from Brokenwood.
