Rise Vineyards is the realisation of a dream shared by Grant and Matt, two friends from opposite ends of the world, New Zealand and Scotland, who fell in love with the Clare Valley and settled there with their families. Both have long careers in wine, having run two of South Australia's leading wineries, Kirrihill Wines and Château Tanunda.
With Rise they grow their own grapes and make the kind of wines they, their families and friends enjoy drinking. Their vineyards sit between 400 and 500 metres above sea level in the Clare Valley, one of Australia's oldest wine regions and best known for its Riesling.
