Peos Estate is a family winery in Manjimup, in Western Australia's Southern Forests, where the Macedonian-born Peos family has lived for 100 years. Grandfather P.Y. Peos grew grapes and made wine in Macedonia nearly a century ago and passed the craft to his son Jim, who joined the family in Australia in 1951. In Manjimup the family farmed dairy and beef cattle, potatoes, cauliflowers, beans and more.
In 1996 the third-generation brothers Vic, John, Kon and Chris established their dream vineyard in tribute to their late father and grandfather, bringing the family back to its winemaking roots.
Today Peos Estate is owned and run by Vic Peos with his wife Bente and their daughters Caroline, Olivia and Theresa. The vineyard sits among the tall timbers and clean waters of the Southern Forests, and the wine club offers regular releases.
