Peerick Vineyard

Peerick is a family vineyard at Warrenmang in Victoria's Pyrenees region, on a 420-acre property that was once part of a much larger sheep run. The vineyard was established in 1990 by Chris and Meryl Jessup. The district's wine history goes back to 1868, when James Frazer Watkin planted a vineyard at 'Belmont' near Beaufort.

In July 2018 Michael and Felicity O'Hara bought Peerick, planning to live on the property, rebuild the vineyard, make wine and rehabilitate the land, much of which had been eroded after clearing in the gold-rush era. They run it with their children Megan and Luke and have revitalised the label.

Peerick was named Australian Sauvignon Blanc Winery of the Year at the 2019 Asian International Wine Competition, and its Shiraz has been ranked among Australia's top ten by Winewise and top five by Winestate.
