Pare is a McLaren Vale label founded by Ansel Ashby and Andrew Williams, who between them handle everything from choosing vineyards to selling the wine.
The wines are named for the vineyards they come from rather than a house style, and the name reflects pared-back winemaking, where the winemaker deliberately steps back to let the fruit and site speak.
