Mistletoe Wines is a Hunter Valley brand now proudly owned and run by the McWilliam family, continuing a long tradition of Hunter winemaking. David McWilliam, a fifth-generation member of the family and a hands-on vigneron based in Pokolbin, has a lifelong passion for winemaking, and his deep connection to the land inspired the family to buy Mistletoe so the much-loved brand could thrive into the future.
The wines are grown and made from the family's Mount Hill vineyard on Mistletoe Lane in Pokolbin, which became only the 30th vineyard to achieve Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certification. Amy, who leads sales and marketing and readily drives the tractor at harvest, flushes irrigation lines and collects soil samples, was instrumental in securing that certification, and Shane brings more than 30 years of viticultural experience to the vineyards.
The aim is wines that reflect the character of the vineyard, the region and the family's commitment to quality, from their family to your table. There is currently no public cellar door while the family shapes the next chapter of Mistletoe on Mistletoe Lane.
