Jester Hill Wines

Jester Hill Wines is a family winery at Glen Aplin on Queensland's Granite Belt, aiming to capture the region's continental climate in every bottle. The property was bought in 1990, when it held fruit trees and table grapes; these were removed and the ground rested before the first vines went in in 1993.

In March 2010 Michael and Ann Bourke rode to the Granite Belt on their motorcycles, and nine months later they owned Jester Hill. Michael (Mick) made his first solo vintage in 2012, with the 2012 Touchstone Shiraz winning multiple gold medals and trophies and the Touchstone Petit Verdot placing in Winestate's top five.

The winery's mission is to make gatherings of friends, family and even fools more memorable. The cellar door is open seven days, with gourmet platters, a log fire, vineyard and mountain views, functions, and events such as a blues day in the vines.
