Highclare Estate is a family-owned vineyard at Hillwood in Tasmania's Tamar Valley, founded by Matt, a town planner, and Sarah, an advertising executive, who found the property online and moved to create a new life for their family.
More than 32,000 vines now grow on the 130-hectare property, producing estate-grown Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and traditional-method sparkling.
In December 2024 they opened the Highclare Wine Room in central Launceston, opposite City Park, as a city cellar door.
