Hanging Tree Wines is a Hunter Valley winery with a 40-acre vineyard on one of Pokolbin's most scenic ridges, looking across the valley to the Brokenback Range.
The pet-friendly cellar door is surrounded by a koi pond, French parterre rose gardens, fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers, a duck pond and heritage sites, with four resident dogs. Visitors can taste the award-winning wines or picnic in the gardens.
The estate also has 300 olive trees and hosts events through the year, from an olive harvest day to a winter bonfire celebrating the end of vintage, Latin American street food with live jazz, and wine dinners.
