Gracebrook Vineyards

Gracebrook Vineyards is a family winery in the King Valley of north-east Victoria, run by David and Rhonda. The home farm was held by the Jarrott family since settlement and was long regarded as one of the King Valley's premium properties. In 1995 David and Rhonda bought the 56-acre Peipers Lane paddock, neglected for years, and cleared blackberry and bracken to reveal deep, well-drained red basalt soil.

The vineyards span a range of topography, soils and microclimates, letting each variety be matched to its best site, in the fruit-driven style the King Valley is known for. The 12-acre vineyard in front of the cellar door sits on volcanic red basalt. All bottling, labelling and packing is done on site.

The cellar door and restaurant are open Thursday to Sunday, with lunch.
