Faisan Estate is a family vineyard and winery in Orange, New South Wales. The vineyard began in 1985 with a single acre of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Col and Trish Walker acquired the property in 1991, and by 1997 the plantings had grown to 15 acres with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Semillon. Their three sons grew up learning the craft, and more Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are planned.
Visitors can taste the wines, walk the vineyard and see how the wine is made.
