Eldorado Road is the family label of Paul 'Bear' Dahlenburg and Lauretta 'Laurie' Schulz, who spent careers making wine and tending other people's vineyards before starting their own label in 2010.
A highlight is Dulcie's 1890 vineyard, a derelict dry-grown block on a shoulder of the Warby Ranges near Glenrowan, planted in 1890 with rootlings shipped from France. Paul first heard of it when its owner, Dulcie Brack, offered him her grapes while he was manager at nearby Baileys of Glenrowan, and the family has since worked to restore it.
The cellar door and food are in Ford Street, Beechworth.
