Domaine de Binet is the family label of Hunter Valley winemaker Daniel Binet and his wife Natalie, the realisation of a childhood dream and a creative, experimental counterpart to the family's traditional Ballabourneen range.
Daniel was born on Efate in Vanuatu and came to Australia in the late 1980s, then explored his French heritage in Europe with several vintages before qualifying as a winemaker. With 20 years' experience, he is one of the Hunter's best-known young winemakers, twice nominated for The Wine Society's Young Winemaker of the Year and named a Hunter Valley Rising Star.
Binet Family Wines also offers contract winemaking, a 'Winemaker for a Day' experience and cellar door tastings.
