Dalrymple Vineyards

Dalrymple Vineyards is on the sloping hills of Pipers River in northern Tasmania, overlooking Bass Strait. It was founded in 1987 by people inspired by the region's cool climate and rugged coastal beauty to make fine single-site wines, well before the rest of the world discovered Tasmania.

Pinot Noir is at the heart of Dalrymple, and its Single Site Pinot Noirs have been warmly received. Vigneron Peter Caldwell oversees each vintage and describes Pinot Noir as mysterious, challenging and a complete reflection of its environment. For every hectare of vineyard it owns, Dalrymple preserves or plants a hectare of native vegetation, and it is a member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.

Visitors can taste the wines in Dalrymple's small tasting room at Pipers Brook.
