Crittenden

Crittenden is a family-owned winery on the Mornington Peninsula, set among vines at Dromana at the foot of Red Hill. It was founded by Garry Crittenden, one of the pioneers of Italian grape varieties in Australia, who co-wrote the book Italian Grape Varieties in Australia and helped introduce many of those varieties to local growers.

Today winemaker Rollo Crittenden, Garry's son, leads the winemaking, with a focus on estate-grown, single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that express the Peninsula's cool maritime climate, alongside Italian and Iberian varieties and the more experimental wines the family has long been known for.

The lakeside estate offers guided tastings at the cellar door, a restaurant serving seasonal food, and private villas overlooking the vineyard and lake.
