Ceravolo Estate

Ceravolo is a family-owned estate at Ashton, high in the cool Adelaide Hills, with roots in Calabria in southern Italy. The Ceravolo family settled in Australia in 1952, and in 1974 Heather and Joe Ceravolo established the original estate at Ashton among cherry trees, figs and apple orchards. Heather, a former Mayor of the Adelaide Hills, restored the historic Deep Creek Bridge in 1992.

The vineyard covers about three hectares of gentle slopes east of Mount Lofty, between Ashton and Basket Range. For more than 25 years the family has made internationally awarded wines inspired by Italian heritage, combining Cortese, Dolcetto, Barbera and Sangiovese with Adelaide Hills classics such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

At Ceravolo, wine is inseparable from food, family and hospitality: the wines are made with restraint and balance, for long lunches and generous tables.
