Anderson Hill is a family winery at Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills. The Anderson family's farming history goes back to the early 20th century, when Peter Anderson moved the family from Scotland to South Australia. In 1994 Brian Anderson and his son Ben bought 32 acres at Lenswood and developed them into a vineyard, and since Brian's passing Ben and his wife Clare have run the business, with the aim of building a sustainable family brand for future generations.
Anderson Hill is a five-star Halliday winery known for premium cool-climate wines, including award-winning Pinot Noir. Its O Series 2018 Shiraz won Best in Show at the world's largest wine competition. Ben spends most of his time in the vineyard and winery, while Clare, a former art student, draws the A Series labels each vintage and runs the cellar door restaurant.
The cellar door offers wine, craft beer and an all-day lunch menu with some of the best views in the Adelaide Hills.
